Administration of Audio Visual Collections Final Project

For the final project in my AV class, each student was given 25 images from the Detroit News photo morgue that is housed by the Reuther Library. Many of these images became part of the Virtual Motor City. This was one of the first digitization projects the library undertook and our task was to prepare entries for a future update. We searched for the images in the Detroit News using Newsbank and created more in-depth descriptions and added subject headings using it other online sources.
